Worcester Premier Sale
We enjoyed considerable success under the new Breed Evaluation System taking three Gold Awards, one Silver and one Bronze.
Jubilee progeny won the progeny group trophy for the second year running and the Foulrice Flock shared Highest Points trophy
with the Logie Durno Flock. This success was echoed in the sale ring.Our Gold Award two shear ram sold at 2200gns to
Robert Whittaker's Hundalee Flock. Our
Gold Award shearling Foulrice Captain sold at 1200gns to Ian Goudy and our Silver Award shearling Foulrice Chieftain
sold at 4200gns to Richard and Mary Tulloch. The average for five sold was £1879.

Our Gold Award ram lamb, Foulrice Dunamis led the ram lamb pen selling at 2700gns to Tony and June Gregory. This was followed by a strong Cougar son Foulrice Denethor which sold at 2000gns to Ted and Ian Dyde. Foulrice Dynamite, another outstanding Jubilee son, was taken at 1700gns by Norman McMordie, and Foulrice Dominator, twin brother to our selected Reference ram Diplomat, sold at 1200gns to Adrian Few, giving an overall average for seven sold of £1452.

Lanark Premier Sale
Lanark was no less exciting, where our Jubilee son Foulrice Danny Boy topped the trade at 2800gns,
selling to W. McAllister and J. Aitken. This was followed by Foulrice Dee Gee selling at 1500gns to
Cecil Thomas for the Wolston flock. 5 ram lambs sold to an average of £1323.

2003 On Farm Ram Sale
Our second sale saw a strong demand for both shearling and ram lambs despite the exceptionally hot day.
Strong demand saw commercial trade for shearlings peak at 620gns and level at £420, £80 up on the previous year.
Two breeders ram lambs realised 920gns and 800gns sold to S. Beeforth and M. Johnson respectively, and ram lambs
levelled at £316, £100 up on the previous year.
Excellent ram sales continued through the season with Champion Ram at Carlisle being sold to Henry Harvey
from the Isle of Man for 650gns and another prize winner was sold for the same money to James Huddleston.
Kelso continued in the same vein with our pen of 20 shearlings averaging £420.
2003 Female Production Sale
The strong demand for rams, together with the undoubted success of Westonvale Jubilee came together to
produce an amazing trade realising top gimmer price of the year at 3100gns and top ewe lamb price of 1900gns.
Both show shearling gimmers were bought by Shaun Saunders of Coleford, Glous. the second at 1900gns.
The ewe lamb, a very stylish Jubilee daughter, was taken by John and Sue O'Reilly for their Backstone Flock at Kingsthorpe,
Northampton.
